My Family Room is a secure service provided by the Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) that gives parents and guardians access to time-saving features and can help make communicating with your school easier.

With My Family Room, you can:
• Register for School: if you are new to the UCDSB or have another child ready for school, skip the paper forms and register online.
• Report Lates & Absences: let your school know if your child will be late or absent by reporting through the mobile app or website.
• Receive absence notifications to your smartphone, and either call the school or respond online to immediately let the school know that your child is safe.
• Receive phone calls, emails, or text messages pertaining to your child, such as absence notifications, school emergencies, bus cancellations, and school events.
• Easily customize your contact preferences for how to receive emergency and urgent notifications (for example, receive urgent notification by text message, while having non-urgent notifications go to your email).
• Provide consent electronically for school activities and field trips.
• Conveniently approve and pay for school events on the mobile app or website. Payment processing is by industry leader PayPal so you can be sure that your banking information is secure and protected by PCI-DSS industry security standards. Events you have approved and paid for automatically get added to your childs calendar which can be viewed in My Family Room.
• View your child’s school calendar online, including PD days, exam days, and other calendar items entered by your child’s teachers and school staff.
• View key contact information for your child’s school, such as phone numbers and email addresses for Principals, Vice-Principals, and office staff.
• View your child’s contact and demographic information on file (address and phone numbers), plus health information, transportation details, and absence history.
